Advertiser Set Up

As online competition increases, a good direct response marketing advertiser program is becoming an essential tool to running any Internet business.  Essentially risk free, running a good advertiser program is a win-win situation where you, as the advertiser, gain an online sales force you do not have to pay a cent until we have already generated sales for you! Your first stop in setting up an advertiser program is the Advertiser Setup.

The set up is made up of these items:

Commission Setup - We will setup your commission levels and cookie settings.

Approval & Notifications - This page gives you control to setup your affiliate program URL’s, email addresses, and default affiliate email.

Signup Page - This page gives us control over customizing your advertiser program.

Terms Of Service - Having a good Terms of Service for us not only protects against any potential liability, but also provides you with a medium to state any program conditions or exceptions, and/or any responsibilities up-front. This way we know what to expect, what is expected of you, and what we should or should not be doing as a member of your advertiser program. You are provided with a Terms of Service contract upon approval.

Manage Programs

Advertiser Programs allow you to run multiple campaigns through one account. This provides you with greater flexibility for different commission rates for different sites, or product lines. You can then use Program specific Media to market each program separately and maximize your sales. For each Advertiser Program you create, you can assign products and media (banners, text ads etc.)  Products may be assigned to an Advertiser Program individually or by product categories and may only ever be assigned to one program at once. Keep in mind, you don't necessarily have to setup multiple programs; for many advertisers the default advertiser program will meet your needs.  Secondary programs offer greater flexibility and allow you to setup multiple programs to accommodate greater revenue needs.

Manage Media

Once your Advertiser Program has been setup, we will need to create the internet marketing tools (i.e., text ads, email ads, banners, etc.) you can use to promote your Advertiser Program successfully. We will upload and assign as many marketing ads and tools as you need to help you promote your Advertiser Program. All media we create will be used under the specific program we create the media for.

There are 4 pieces of information we will need to create for each new Ad:

Title - This is the title that you assign a particular Ad.  It is used for reference purposes.

Message Body or Ad Link- This will either be a field where you copy in the body of your message, or, in the case of media that rely on separate files, a field where you provide the saved location of the file.

Destination URL - This controls which page your clients will land on when they click on this Ad.

Notes - This field allows you to pass on any special usage notes to you regarding each Ad.

Available ad types are:

ADs - An Ad is a small, text, classified ad type media, similar to what you would enter for a Google AdWord ad.

Email - This section allows you to create direct response marketing email that you can use to entice customers to buy.

Text Links - A text link is a simple, one-line text link that we can use.  Creating text links gives us the ability to control the linking text that we use.

Banners - A Banner is an image that you create.

Video Ads - This media type allows us to create a streaming video file we can use to promote your products.

Audio Ads - This media type allows us to create an audio file we can use to promote your products.

Popup Ads - This media type allows us to create popups we can use to promote your products.

Flash Ads - This media type allows us to create flash files we can use to promote your products.

Commission Structure

As online competition increases, a good advertiser program is becoming an essential tool to running Direct Response Internet business.  Essentially risk free, running a good advertiser program is a win-win situation where you, as the direct response marketing advertiser, gain an online sales force and you do not have to pay a cent until we have already generated sales for you!

Program Name - This is the name you would like to assign to your advertiser program.  For example: If you will be associating this program with your ABC Clothing line then you might call this program ABC Clothing.  This name will be displayed to you, along with a short description of the program.

Program Description - This allows you to create a description of your advertiser program.  This description will be displayed to you, along with the program name.

Pay Day - This lets us tell our system which day of the month to send you an email reminder to pay. This email is sent to the advertising administrator email address.  The number you choose represents the day of the month (between the 1st and 28th) that you plan on paying.

Per Impression Rate - This sets the dollar amount you would like to start for impressions generated.  An impression occurs when one of your program ads (a banner for example) is loaded in a browser.

Per Click Rate - This sets the dollar amount that you would like to start for clicks generated.  A click is logged every time one of your program ads (a banner for example) is clicked.

Pay Per Lead Rate - This sets the dollar amount you would like to start for leads generated.  A lead represents anyone who becomes a part of your database; either by signing up for your mailing list, or by buying a product.

Pay Per Call - This sets the dollar amount you would like to start for calls generated.  A call represents anyone who reaches the call center or telemarketing company; either by signing up for your mailing list, or by buying a product.

Pay Per Order - This sets the dollar amount you would like to start for calls generated.  A call represents anyone who reaches the call center or telemarketing company; either by signing up for your mailing list, or by buying a product.

Default Cookie Expiration - This allows us to set the number of days (to a maximum of 3650 days or 10 years) that your advertiser cookies will remain active on a customer’s computer.  If someone buys a product from you while there is an advertiser cookie active on their computer, our system will track commissions for that customer.

Virtual Ad Tracking

Virtual Ad Tracking is one of the most powerful marketing tools on the Internet. If there is one secret to success online that every Internet marketing expert will agree on, it is to 'track and test everything". Our Virtual Ad Tracker program is a powerful tool that helps you do just that!

What Is A Virtual Ad Tracker?

A Virtual Ad Tracker is a tool that tracks clicks on a specific link; this could be a link on your website, a link in an ad or any other link that you would like to track statistics for. Essentially, a Virtual Ad Tracker is an invisible turn-style.  It works in the background to track exactly who is clicking on a link without your customers ever knowing it is there.

 Here's How It Works:

While a Virtual Ad Tracker will work for any link that you would like to track, let's say you have a link to your order page somewhere on your site and you would like to know how many people are clicking on it.

Why Would You Want To Do This?

This is a good practice because you can later compare the number of people who clicked on the order link to the number of orders that were actually placed.

This will tell you what the drop-off rate, or customer loss rate, is on your order form.

When one of your customers passes through our Virtual Ad Tracker, our system first tracks the click, but it also places a simple cookie on your customers computer enabling us to track any further activity from that customer within our system.

This means that, once your customer passes through a Virtual Ad Tracker link, we can track that customer if they later sign up for a newsletter or buy a product from you.
